What is the difference between a Standard Fade and Skin Fade?

Standard Fade:

Transitioning from one haircut length to another which removes hair to a “Zero” length or greater. Maximum closeness achieved, but no use of box shaver to fade to skin. Shaver only used for neckline and sideburn finish.

Skin Fade:

Transitioning from one haircut length to another which removes hair all the way to skin for a seamless transition. Box shaver is used on the interior of the head for these haircuts.
